What do you watch?
Exactly what it says. What do you guys watch on television?
Exactly what it says. What do you guys watch on television?
Everything on USA Network pretty much, and the Olympics.
Assorted adult swim, Supernatural, mythbusters, daily/colbert, and CSI.Thats about it.
I don't watch Television per se. Can't stand all the commercials and network primetime is pretty much cop show, cop show, doctor show, unreality garbage. Shows I get into I watch online or Dl'd through services. Right now working my way through Scrubs season by season. That's how I watch most shows. Wait till it's been around a good long while then watch them all at once.
Gonna throw in a another vote for USA network (BURN NOTICE!!!)
+Bones
Come to think of it, I'm pretty much obsessed w/ crime dramas...
except CSI
Hm, well I was hoping to get some insight on shows I don't watch but it seems I watch everything you guys do! ![]()
Lost, Caprica, Myth Busters, Glenn Beck, and the occasional movie.
But 'TV' also means shows on Hulu or Watchtrek. Right now my 13 year old daughter is hooked on Star Trek (original), so we watch a few episodes around dinner time. Before that was the first 5 seasons of Lost to get her ready for the final season, and before that was Babylon 5.
If you like Star Trek, check out www.watchtrek.com. All flavors, all episodes (but several links are currently broken, which they are fixing).
Well, usually I'd say: "Whatever floats your boat."
But in this case: "Seriously Dean? I mean: SERIOUSLY DEAN?!" ![]()
At present I watch Supernatural (obviously
), LOST, Chuck, Smallville, Legend of the Seeker, nip/tuck, Flashforward.
When they continue: Californication, Heroes, Doctor Who, Torchwood
Gave up on Stargate: Universe.
Some of your choices are in the realm of 'whatever floats your boat', as well.
I agree with one, however - Doctor Who!
Moosetek, interesting site. Is it legal? Quality is not perfect, but doable I guess.
StarAdder, why did you give up on Stargate? I've heard it is a good show, but I havent seen it yet.
Currently I watch the series 24. I still have a lot of seasons to watch, but it is so addictive that they are running out fast.
Burn Notice.
I'll see what I can do.
Office, Corner Gas, Colbert
,Stargate Atlantis,National Geographic, UFC. ![]()
'wire' was an excellent series. not the usual cop/badguy stuff. very involved and deep.
lost - for some odd reason im still watching it. the first 3 seasons were good, but then the whole 'omg look at me im doing something totally inexplicable and unexpected for no adequate reason' got really boring. i guess im looking at it out of habit.
big bang theory - its an american sitcom, but its actually got witty jokes every once in a while...+ the science stuff is occasionally amusing.
Farscape and Firefly on Netflix...Caprica via TV...Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles via DVD/Hulu...Invader Zim on Nickelodeon--basically all excellent shows prematurely killed in their prime by stupid network executives. OBEY THE PANTS!!
No idea.
But unless it is taken down it is the best place to watch Star Trek series.
The quality is not perfect, as you say. But overall it is very good. The data rate seems to suffer with very bright or fast moving scenes, but it has less stuttering than other sites. Another advantage is, no commercials.
Poor Firefly, that was a good show. They really have no idea that a LOT of people loved that show. Everytime I see a "favorite show" or a television show category in a forum, Firefly always gets a mention.
Lost for me. I usually try to catch Pysche and Burn Notice. They are okay. I hate anything to do with Law and Order: Whatever Department or a CSI: Whatever City. Caprica seems interesting, but haven't formed much of an opinion. Other than that, I guess sports, March Madness draws nigh.
Honestly, speaking of television, the only thing I truly look forward to is George R. R. Martin's A Game of Thrones coming to HBO. I hope that kicks ass. I think most of the people involved in that fabulous show, Rome, are doing this. So far the cast looks great (Peter Dinklage <SP?> and Sean Bean among others), the writing and plot are a shoe in I hope, and HBO just picked up the pilot and 10 episodes. So woo hoo to Martin's Game of Thrones.
History Channel or Discovery Channel when in a hotel. Beyond that, nothing. TV sucks.
Castle, NCIS, and Scrubs; that's about it. I stopped watching House 2 seasons ago, and I've not gotten back into Chuck yet.
I've wanted to check out Caprica, but I've been worried about possible (indirect) spoilers, as I've not yet watched BSG Season 4.5.
It's absolutely lame. I know it's supposed to be more drama than action series. But in drama shows you need to have a person you can relate to. There is noone there in SG:U. They're all asswipes. And there are some storywise gripes too...
Yeah, that really ticked me off in season 4 and 5 as well. But the very last ep of season 5 got me hooked again. And now I'm all curious about what the endgame looks like.
I watch a few french series which I thought were good. Trauma, Mirador and Yamaska. All french series from montreal.
IN english I like to watch Stargate universe. I watch montreal hockey games.
Other than that I watch movies mostly.

Never would have thought of Moosetek13 being a masochist...
Nikolai
