Yea I read Eragon...and I must tell all of you that haven't that the movie sucks....(its almost backwards from the book ugh.) How many books are in the Dune series? I've never heard of it (only read fantasy lol) but I have read almost all of the forgotten realms books (atleast 20 of em I've read.)

Dune, let's see. The original series by Frank Herbert spans 6 books; however when he died he had tons of notes for a number of other Dune-universe novels; these have panned out to be written by his son and Kevin J. Anderson.
The books published after his death number 10 or 11. Maybe 12. So in total there's probably 16-18 500-700 page books.

IIRC the "separations" are- Dune+Dune Messiah+Children of Dune, then God Emperor (which is a little bit Children+GE), then Heretics of Dune+Chapterhouse:Dune+Hunters of Dune+Sandworms of Dune; Paul of Dune fits in between Dune and Dune Messiah, and then it's Butlerian Jihad+Machine Crusade+Battle of Corrin and House Atreides+Harkonnen+Corinno.

I never told them about Liz. Not only would they be ALL over her, they'd stalk her to find out what her family is like, if anyone in her family has ever committed a crime, etc. My mom has crazy-phobia, and is therefore crazy. If someone one of my friends is distantly related to so much as has a fender bender w/ another car, they're entire family is deemed "unsafe" and I can't be friends anymore.
