You know which file site annoys me? I think it's called Rapidshare or something... It's got two dial-things on the page that inform you how much slower your download is compared to a paid-for download subscription. Anyway, it's got a daily download limit for non-paying members (that's right, not just slower downloading) so trying to download a large mod off of there was a two day process. Makes you wander why they didn't upload it elsewhere...
Yes, that is correct. Of all the file sites out there, Rapidshare is the worst and the most wide known.
Each file has a size limit (I think 200 MB), and in order to upload large files, you have to split them into parts. So you download each part of a certain file, and have to suffer greatly reduced download speed, along with a 15 minute waiting time, between each download. And I dont even want to mention the common 60 sec wait for the file to actually start downloading, after the 15 mins.
That can be extremely painful when you want to download a large file, so......my point is that Rapidshare completely SUCKS!

Megaupload is actually pretty good, I use it really often. You only have to wait 45 sec between each download, and the speed for free users is actually quite decent.
I suggest using that over Rapidshare
