Skidi killed herself. By creating entities in the same manner as eddie, she herself was split apart, and being only a fraction from the start, simply lacked enough substance to be sustained. As more spawned from her, this process, continued by her, brought here to an end, and all of her compatriots.
And yet again, I must ponder: why have I, from the beginning, believed that I had met Skidi?

Maybe Azrael got jealous of the other personalities and killed them? After all, Eddy says Azrael made the other personalities go away. It seems like it would be in character with how he's acted. After all, he claims he's an all-powerful angel, so it fits that he'd deem himself worthy to be Eddy's only creation.
