Judging from the fact that Kelsey was crying when she told you to break up, it is quite clear that it hurts her a lot to end your relationship. Like it was something she HAD to do.... 
I would suggest following Xer07's advice in order to find out exactly what made her do this (or should I say, WHO made her), because, after all, you would want a reason for this break up, right? If I were you, I would want to find out why she ended it.

No, that doesn't sound psycho to me. Of course, I'd name weapons (that have earned a name.....this is very Imperium of Man-esque (Heavy Bolter "Scourge of Xenos" anyone?).
I'm sorry, but I'm going to blatantly say that this is wrong. A gun generally has-
1. Far greater range. Crossbows can hit targets at around 300 yards maybe? (that's in 250 meter range IIRC) A good assault rifle can hit targets at 400-600 meters. At that's a POINT target. One guy. At nearly or more than twice the range of a crossbow.
2. Guns also usually have better killing/stopping power. A crossbow bolt might not put someone down. A sufficiently powerful bullet in the right place will.
3. Guns have FAR greater ammo capacity than a crossbow. Top that off with semiautomatic or even automatic firing capability, and I can simply go "DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA", hose down the bushes your hiding in with lead, and then scream "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD" whenever I see spurts of blood. I'll probably go hoarse.
4. I'll give crossbows one thing, if you can recover the bolts, you'll never run out of ammo. But they still don't have the versatility of a gun. A .50 caliber machine gun, loaded with different types of ammunition, can eliminate lightly armored vehicles, enemy supplies, or enemy infantry. WITH EASE.
As you can see, guns have far superior capabilities to crossbows. And once I have my Boltgun (boltguns are the equivalent of a 20mm FUCKING HAND CANNON) ready, there's just nothing that can stop me with a crossbow. After all, headshot with Boltgun=exploding head.

In any traditional relationship, one person is pressured to keep the couple together. In your case, both of you should be pressured. If kelsey really loves you, or atleast wants you, then she'll make the right decision when she realizes the point of ultimatum. YOU need to make her choose. Obviously you'll have to confront her alone, and there's a fair chance that she will completely leave you, but if you just let her alone with whatever is influencing her away, she'll be gone. Bust a move, as some say.

Not to thrash on other people, but IFear's advice is a little... not good.
It's rather obvious that what she needs as of now is time to think; that she told you to get away with tears in her eyes means that she's in, as I like to call it, the "Crossroads of Destiny", a critical point in her life where she has to chose between two things that she likes, and she's having difficutly deciding. I would let her alone, and give her time to think and chill.. in the meantime, I would try to contact her friends and talk to them about it.
Also: On a semi-related subject, tomorrow I'm going to kiss Mishayla goodbye for the summer.

that's stupid. Why would we cast you away for something like that? You just did what anyone would do... as I once told someone I care about, everyone needs someone who cares. Since you lacked this, you made your own set of people who would care. It's completely natural, and there's no shame, harm, or problem in you doing so. I honestly don't care what you call yourself; all that matters to me is that you are you, and not just someone that we want you to be. As a result of your loneliness, you created the mask of Skidi in order to hide your loneliness and make you feel like you belonged, even if it was just in our own world.
Besides, just what kind of person do you think I am to "cast you away" for something like that?!? You should know that I'm not a heartless person, that I'm not insensitive, that I'm not... a monster! I'm not somebody who'd throw another person aside just because their different! And you should know that! People who would do that to you are trash, and it hurts me that you'd think that about us.
Anyway, I enjoy your company, and I'm sure that getting to know the real you will be just as, if not more enjoyable, than getting to know "skidi".

Not a mask in a literal sense, a mask as in a way to protect yourself from the loneliness and so forth... protecting who you really were behind the mask of all these people.
