Fences Pro Problems

I have previously installed Fences (free version) and decided to upgrade to Fences Pro (order number 77758782MH8082639-0213101634)

I expected to receive a link to download the software I just bought, instead of that I was offered to install "impulse" which I do not need and do not want. But, to get Fences Pro running, I used impulse.

First, impulse installes the software without giving me a chance to choose the directory, so it went to another directory as Fences-free version did. Second, when running "Fences Pro", the configuration dialogue of the free version comes up, so it seems that I have paid for nothing.

Please let me know whats going on, otherwise I will ask Paypal to cancel this purchase.

Hello,

I'm is french sorry for my bad english.

I'm tested free version 13/02/2010 and purchase pro version for good software.

Impusle default directory and selected in impulse Fences free version for uninstall reboot and in impulse selected Fences pro for install and reboot.

And registration in impulse for Fences Pro.

And in impulse unselected Startup Impulse windows.

 

I'm good works Fences :)

Beclaude makes a good point.

 

1. Did you uninstall the previous free version of fences first? I would suggest going into it and telling it to restore your original desktop snapshot. Then uninstall it.

2. Then proceed to impulse and install Fences Pro.

I believe the best way to install and uninstall Stardock software is through Impulse. Beclaude is absolutely correct in the way it was done.
