I don't like the way that this game is going with half-race children based on the dev journals. Having your children turn into monster babies would make players make bad gameplay decisions based on wanting a good character to look at. No one will want to make a marriage with the goblin types and everyone will always marry the Slaaneshland guys. 

Just have a child from this marriage be one race or another please.

I think its funny how movies like Avatar portray their aliens with breasts. I mean just because a creature is bipedal does not mean its going to have developed the same way. especially since he Na'vi are more like amphibians.

Edit: Just found this wikipedia article about it. It says some interesting stuff about the creation of the Na'vi race for the movie and the necessity for an audience to relate to them: hence the "boobies"

I always though avatar was really just starcraft. Na'vi are protoss, even down to the psychich braid things. The native critters are zerg. They even have zerg creep, that tree network thing. Zerg and na'vi were both made by same race, so thats why they are together in that movie. And terrans are terrans, they even have golaiths and wraiths. Everything fits perfectly.

If you dont want your character to be ugly to marry them to someone ugly this makes it more real. I mean it plays a real factor if your going to me a moral kind of character in the game or are gonna be at it for the wrong reasons rather than benifiting your empire.

For those of you who saw the fate stay/night anime, its like when gilgamesh(ancient king of Uruk) and saber(king arthur) are talking during thier final fight.

Gilgamesh: To the king, the country is nothing more than his belonging. If a king can't control everything around him, it makes transcendent beings like kings unnecessary. That is why, King Arthur, you were destroyed by your own country.

Saber:  Yes, exactly. But Hero King, that is why you destroyed your country!

TBH, that quote will help folks who have watched FSN(which should be everyone!) but it really points out the differences in style. One person treats their country as a toy, and ends up destroying it, and the other serves their country until they get run into the ground by their country's demands.

Having played several times now i have always gone for the wierest looking female to marry just to see what the kids look like.

Only read the first few posts but... no!  don't eliminate the genetics code!  I'm all for it!  In fact, it would be cool if one of the fallen races could somehow kidnap your pretty little princess if she's out & about, it could be the start of a quest to rescue her.  And after she's rescued... a few months later, she's has a kid.  Damn goblins raped her, and now she has a half-breed goblin baby who may or may not be loyal.  Or maybe she somehow falls for a goblin while in captivity, and flips to that side...  Some possibilities there.

This is the PERFECT thread to be reading on Halloween!

I love the xenophilia/phobia/attractiveness idea.  Straight love it.  That should get into the game at some point.

But I have to say sorry...  Because that idea is nowhere near as awesome as the general content of this (de)generating thread.

Please, guys, keep it up, I can see another weeks worth of entertainment being tapped out of this, at least.

On another note, I'm not one for compound eyes...  Tentacles, however....  *_*

Now, lets get serious:  Regarding humans meeting 'exotic aliens' no one ever mentions the other side.  Do you really think "they" would want to go slumming with "Homo homo Sapiens," -ie humans?  And what kind of "drink" would you offer one?    And, are you really, really, reeee aaa ly, ready to deal with whatever "attachments" they might have?
