Favor Points status?

For multiplay favor points aren't counted if there isn't a human on both sides of the game. Is this perhaps causing your problem?

Ah, thank you very much. There isn't much clear info around about favor points.

Yes, me and friends mostly play custom 'co-op' games. Nevertheless, sometimes we get the points. We also played against other humans for testing out if this was the case, and we didn't get the FP from that match either!

So, where did you find that information e.g. in the manual or ingame?

It seems unrelated to Bots or human players. We mostly don't get the points.

maybe you quit from game instead of conceding? or just some invalid gamestates...

- Write down the Amount of total Favor points you have in the game (Multiplayer). 

- Play a Multiplayer game against at least 1 human opponent.

- Hope that nobody disconnects or clicks "end game" in that game you play (Sometimes a disconnect causes certain players to not get any favor).

- look at how many points you earned in that game.

- Check to see for sure if you got that exact amount of favor points added to your total.

If you didnt get any favor points, then I suggest you contact [email protected] and they should be able to fix whatever is wrong with your account.

Also a valid possibility, thanks. The games played have always been played to the end, exited with the "main menu" button which appears at the end.

We've checked. Mostly we don't get *any* FPs. We've also checked that in a vs humans game. *Sometimes* the correct amount of FPs is added, but no pattern is obvious. I suppose I'd easily be missing 10.000 FP (rather more, but not to exaggerate). I'm playing every game in hopes I'll get my 100 more FP to finally be able to buy the item I desire, but in the next game my FP are still the same (currently 1005. Which is nothing agains what I should have).

I'll contact Stardock directly, but it just seems strange. Why would all people I know have this issue, but no one here? So you see FP 150 in your summary, and it's added every time?

You get points for achievements even if yourplaying AIs. That might be where your gains are from.

Ohhh... so you say I might've gotten FP from achievements now and then? Possible. That could explain the irregular FP income. On the other hand, it would be a huge coincidence that those achievements got me the exact amount which was shown in the summary of the game before.

However, against humans we got no FP either.

Yeah you definitely have an account problem mate, I suggest you contact them asap.

p.s. every time I have contacted Stardock support, they are very quick to respond, max 24 hours, and they are always helpful even for insignificant things.

The amount of favor you get in the game is your performance + achievements.

anyway a good test would be to host a password online 1v1 w a friend and have someone concede then see who gets what favor
