Can't drag from explorer to dock.

So, I've noticed that this also happened in RocketDock.

No, I do NOT have lock drag on.

I have tried reinstalling.

Things off the desktop fail to drag to objectdock when they used to. Same with the file browser. I tried restarting both explorer.exe, objectdock, and my computer, but no success.

So then I was thinking to myself "Maybe it's explorer.exe", so I went to notepad and hit File->Open, and I could drag from the file dialog menu onto objectdock. Other file dialogs like that from other programs worked too. I don't want to have to use a different shell, I want to know how to reset it to make it work correctly.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate but have read that it has happened on other Windows OS's. I think hitting ctrl+alt+del made this happen but I can't be sure.

Yes, I am running it as Administrator. I have searched the internet all over for a fix but have failed to find one.

Help would be appreciated!

Are you using a left-handed mouse? That will cause this problem with OD,not sure about Rocketdock.. See THIS thread.

Ran into another person in the Stardock IRC channel with the same problem.  I have Object Dock Plus running on Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit with no problems.  The only thing different between his system and mine was I had UAC turned off.  He did the same, rebooted,  and it corrected the problem.  I can't say it will correct yours but it is worth a try. :sun:

Hey thanks! I wasn't using a left handed mouse but turning off the UAC fixed it just fine.

I wonder why it would do that? Very odd.
