Ptarth recently released UberFix mod V1, available here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/374315

This is a collection of community-created bugfixes (many from Ptarth himself), and we would all benefit from widespread use of this mod online.  To this effect, if you have installed this mod, add your name to this post, and maybe when people see everyone using it, it will become commonplace.

Additionally, if you are having trouble finding games with this mod, try joining the following Vent server:

Host: Oxygen.typefrag.com
Port: 50216

Many top-level players (who are using this mod) idle/use that vent server, you should have no trouble finding someone to play with or against if you check there.

I'm actually quite happy at the popularity this has achieved, a big thank you to everyone that's pushing for it. We just need to keep working on finding, documenting, and fixing bugs. Hopefully Frogboy can help us with adding it to the base install.

On a side note, as previously mentioned by a few others, I want to keep this mod strictly a bugfix. I've got my own ideas about balance (see the QoT: Focus Mod), but I think this should stay strictly as a bugfix. Once we have a solid game, we can then argue about gamebalance.

Good question.  Though it should logically be integrated into dgdata.zip, that would require a new build from GPG. 

Brad - have you guys toyed around with adding mod content yet via impulse so that you wouldn't need GPG's involvement to distribute mods?

I'm guessing it'll just be the mod. But that just means people wont get the message saying they don't have it which is more then likely the reason so few people join games with it on.

I'm still of the opinion that we should push this little mod as a community.  The more we refuse to host games without the mod, the greater the adoption rate... at least that's my theory anyway.

I'm trying to get into your uberfix game right now but don't have the password... do I have to get on vent?  My GF might dump me if she see's me with the headset on.

lolz.  No game is just silly advertising atm.  I'll host one I'll play in about 1 hour from now, though.  If you idle vent I'll let you know when I'm hosting the game (no need to stay in voice chat if your going to get your chops busted :))
