Fences not visible

Hi all - I have just installed Fences pro from Impulse (several times) & the fences do not show. I know this has been discussed before but I have uninstalled with Revo (twice) as suggested by Drjbhl without luck. The icons move & the boundaries are indicated by cursor changes but I can't get the fences to show. I am on XP Home SP2. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i have the same problem from time to time on win7 64bit. A restart usually solves the problem. Nonetheless, it is annoying and shouldnt happen at all.....
