chopping the windows start menu

any suggestions?

hi, i am wondering what the best way to go about doing this would be. basically i just want to chop the windows start menu so that it only consists of the left pane (the search bar, 'all programs' and the recent and pinned prgrams) and nothing else. has anyone done this or know how to do it? thanks.

Not sure but you can try nextstart or litestep.
