Hello everyone!

Welcome to the WC 2010 Beta.  We are excited to be getting near the release of the new WinCustomize, but we still have many things to be worked out, and your help in finding issues and other feedback will be appreciated.  Remember, this is a beta and problems can be expected.

You can access the beta site at:

This forum will serve as the place to give your feedback whether it's a site issue, or general feedback about the site.  To make this organized and efficient, there are a few guidelines to follow in this area.

Tag posts with the titles.  Example: [Bug] Page Not Working

[Bug] Use this if you find a site bug.

[Feature] Obviously, if you want to give feedback on a specific feature.

[Request] If you are requesting something.

[Question] If you have a general question not pertaining to other tags.

If your post is something other than those examples, just tag the post appropriately so we can view them with some type of order.

The forums are not part of this beta, with the possible exception of a new theme.  Feedback for the forums doesn't need to be posted here.  If you run across a forum issue, please use the existing thread here.

All the filters working now except in the WindowBlinds gallery the filters for XP, Vista & Windows 7 ready. All the other filters in WindowBlinds OK.

 

ok I think I have all the filter issues worked out.  There is something behind the scenes not working correctly specifically with the "most popular" view (particularly when searching then trying to sort your results).  All the filters should play nice together now, however.  Keep in mind that the 'view all' gallery still has some issues in the back end, hopefully both these problems will be resolved soon.

[bug] I searched for WindowBlind skins by MikeB314. Then once I got to that page, I filtered by Master skins. When I applied that filter, the skins being displayed were for all skins--Master skin or not; and for all galleries.

this should now be fixed with the fixes from my above post, sorry for the repetition just trying to work through the backlog of problems I've written down.

 

In addition to this, fixed a bug where the search query filter was getting messed up when switching between pages in the results.

When I post a comment on a Forum Post, I'm returned to the first page of the Post...and have to renavigate to see if my comment posted correctly.

oh, just attempting get some answers, so I'll,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

[questions] I know that some of this may have been discussed but....

clicking on my moniker and clicking on "my site" comes up with the same page, and this only shows the most nine recent skins with no direct access to the others from there.

typing in gmc2 in the search in the combo box on brings up "gmc2" skins and not the others that were made under AKA "wimpy". (should I resubmit the others lol)

how do I change my personal information in the new settings.

where is "my skins"? I use this to monitor comments for the submission.

[Bug] Clicking on "Forums" takes me to forums on the new site the first time it is clicked but once there, clicking it again takes me to the old site. It does this if I've gone to a post and want to return to Recent Posts or just looked through the recent posts list and re-click it.

It is still doing this. Two clicks on the Forums link at the top of the page and I get kicked back to the old sites forums.:S

yea the forums stuff is taken care of by someone else, I've told him of the problem but he's busy atm, should get changed soon hopefully :)

update:  changed the search drop down menu and quick sort drop down menu to now be click toggles instead of hover menus...  no more jumpy hovering!

[Bug] I am not able to post comments on skins. When I click "submit," it just takes me back to the top of the page. No comment submitted.
