Fences doesn't work in Windows 7 64 bit (Can't right click to make fences), also, need to be able to resize individual icons.

Hey, I can't get fences to create when right clicking in windows 7 64 bit.  I guess support hasn't been added yet, but I wanted to say this.

Also, it would be nice if individual fences could have their icons resized (In other words, each window having all icons in it the same size, but each window can change the sizes of all icons in it, and other windows can be different sizes).  I'm speaking from what I plan to do with fences, but I would imagine it would help.

One other thing, since I can't run fences yet, can fences themselves be moved around easily?  I'm going to put it on this machine:

That is a core 2 e6400 (launch with 2 meg cache disabled), 4 gigs 1066 ram, ati 5750 (for triple screens, and no issues with drivers), dell 2407 1920x1200 portrait, lg w2361v 23" 1920x1080, and a 1024x768 15" elo touchscreen.  I plan to use fences on the touchscreen.

Just to let you know that it does work on Window 7 (64 bit) as that is what I'm using and it works fine here.  I am however having issues on another WINXP machine where the fences are never visible (and some of the icons become blue also).

As I saw some posts about similar issues mid last year it would appear that my WINXP issue hasn't been fixed. If you have this issue you will still see the "Fences" panel on the main GUI as they are only invisible (sometimes partially visible) on the desktop.

Other than that you say right click, hopefully you mean right click DRAG. When it works its very simple...

The software doesn't implement multi-monitor very well as it seems to assume that both monitors are the same resolution but this at least for me has been a minor issue of near zero impact.

+1 on Fences Pro working with Win 7 64 bit and multiple monitors (same size)...I am using dual Gateway FPD2385W monitors and I am able to move my fences to the secondary monitor, alter all transparencies and restore opacity on mouseover.

hope they will be able to work on this one.

same problem here, on 6 machiens, windows7 x64, all using ATI videocards with latist drivers some with multi screens, others single.

a fix for this, even a manual one would be appricated, I need a few more fences to seprate my icons out a little better.

thanks in advance :)

To create a fence you have to right click and drag, not just right click.  This is what you are doing, correct?

Do you have anything else installed that plugs into the desktop?  Like DeskScapes or other animated or interactive things?

+1 on Shirley's response.  Anyone with this issue running Deskscapes or other desktop animation software?

I got it finally. DO NOT left click to select Icons (Win7 64). Right click and drag to select icons to 'fence'... the rest is self explanitory from there.

I have the same issue too. And to clarify, I do hold Right click and drag. What I saw was a popup menu with option Enable Fences. Clicking the option did nothing to me. Fences does not work on Win7 64 bit SP1.

Anyone had it working?
