What Games Did You Grab Over the Holidays?

I will admit I went a bit crazy with all the game sales over the holiday, and I picked up many games.

Just a few:

What games did you pickup?

Trine, which was great fun, and Jedi Academy on steam.  I love grabbing old school games on the cheap.  I also tried out a bunch of demos, and I'm thinking about grabbing Torchlight.

The wife got us a Wii; got Star Wars: Force Unleashed, Deal or No Deal, and some other, sporty games.

Didn't get any games over the holiday period (not that it matters.. not a big gamer anyhow) but I would like it, if one were available for PC is a copy of Meglomania... was an Atari game (along the likes of Space Invaders) years ago.

My son and I had heaps of fun playing it... in competition to see who could get the highest score. :)

Just dl'd the Demo of Crysis..... currently dying on a beach somewhere.....

I just got the Civilization IV bundle (the files are downloading and installing in Impulse even as we speak) because it was near the top of the 25 best games of the decade list. I bet the thought of that will warm the naughty bits of the marketing department. heh.

A game I'd like to see come to PC is 'Dino Crisis'... so's I can get gived that one next year. :-"

It came out for PS2 about 6 -7 years ago, but I've never seen it for PC, not that I've searched recently.

What I 'want' is the 2005 game of Starship Troopers which not only is from an Aussie developer, I believe....but is also prohibited here...so I'll need someone from the US to get it for me...and post it in a plain brown-paper wrapper.

The "Starship Troopers" from 2005 was made by "Strangelite" ( UK ) and publish by "Empire Interactive" (UK )... it is a First Person Shooter...

A game called "Starship Troopers : Terran Ascendancy" was made in 2000 by "Blue Tongue Entertainment" ( Australia )and publish by "Microprose" ( US )... it is a Real Time Tactic...

I bought it very early and I highly recommend it. The gameplay and the campaign are both awesome. The only downside is that it is not a traditional RTS.

Brian Lara International Cricket 2007
Clive Barker's Jericho
Colin McRae DiRT 2
Damnation
DiRT
FUEL
GRID
Hospital Tycoon
Maelstrom: The Battle for Earth Begins
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
Overlord
Overlord: Raising Hell (expansion)
Overlord II
Rise of the Argonauts

Soldiers: Heroes of World War II
ToCA Race Driver 3

But aside from that I also picked up trine for $5.  Frozenbyte makes some fun games :)

I almost broke my anti-steam boycott to get the THQ pack (all the DoW games, CoH games, Stalker, some other shooters; insane deal) when it was on sale for $50.  If only Impulse had that, but I guess it's not possible due to DoW2 being Steam exclusive.

Otherwise nothing new.  Picked up a few used PS2 games now that local game stores are practically giving them away.
