Did You Get Any Cool Gadgets This Christmas?

Well Christmas is unfortunately over, and I have been reading about all the gadgets and goodies that people received.  I bought quite a few games over the past week, but I did take the gift cards I received and bought a PS3.  I really didn’t get it just for the games, but we needed a media outlet for the master bedroom TV, and the blu-ray and Netflix streaming would be well worth it.

What gadgets did you acquire over the holiday?

Does a waffle-iron count as a cool gadget?  I do think waffles are pretty cool.  :w00t:

It's still in the shop, but will be installed tomorrow when my techie mate Darren comes up to overclock my Phenom II x4 920, and that's a Zalman CPU cooler and fan setup.

Well, I got a polo short, am positive that is not a gadget but my wife got a blender. My younger son got one of those digital cameras for children, now I get too see just how child durable it really is. The under-1-megapixel pictures it takes may be crappy for the price, but to my son they are 12 megapixel pictures from a $500 camera, till he throws it around that is.

Tax Time will be my gadget time as I seek to get myself a WD TV Live or which ever equivelent is out that is better at the time.

Wow, never seen anyone put that much money in a giftcard before. $50 has been the most from family and friends, $100 from a company. Not bad.

Pictures would be nice, never seen this mouse you speak of before.

Christmas for the wife and I was pretty thin this year but the kids got enough stuff to make it OK for everyone.

Miriam's favorite gadget was a Crayola light pen and Gwen's was Crazy Aaron's color-changing Thinking Putty.  Good times for all!

(If anyone wnats to send me their old, broken down gadgets from last year (for the kids) I'll accept them.  :))

I got a 7 port USB HUB (It was desperatley needed) and Iomega ScreenPlay TV Link Multimedia Adaptor. The Multimedia adaptor is great. I can watch all my digital movies through a flash drive or portable HD on my HDTV or any TV I plug it into.

I didn't get any gadgets this year--I am that family member who doesn't want anything and is really hard to buy for.   But I did give away an E-reader (a Nook), and a 24" monitor to someone who was using a 14" CRT for their desktop.   I plan to give myself a Verizon Droid before too long.

I got some money, which will be used to help with my Pandora funds. Since it's going to a cool gadget, does that count?

I didn't know such a thing existed. Cool.

I like what I got. It's smaller than a blackberry, so very portable. Only bug I have with it is using USB's. If it has software preinstalled, it reads that as a partition and won't read anything other than the 'first' partition. I have to find USBs that have no partitions or software installed.
