[Suggestion] 2 little UI tweaks please... for christmas ;)

Not a Diplomacy related topic, but this seems to be the forum where most requests and suggestions are posted, so I decided to post here. I know this are minor issues compared with the ones you have to deal with while coding diplomacy, but they have been annoying me and probably many others during the last months so maybe they could get a fix if one of your coders has some spare time (yay I know how much spare time coders have ;) ):

1. "last report: 4787 seconcs ago". We all know this text in an enemy's planet status description. Could it be possible to change this (and maybe other texts containing such time information) to a more human-readable form? 4787 seconds are 1h 19m 47s (who could tell off the top of his head?) and I think many players would appreciate it if times could be displayed in this format if it's possible.

2. Ability icons show a cooldown bar that is hard to read sometimes (especially with yellow TEC icon backgrounds...). could they or the ability description show a cooldown timer too/instead - maybe as an option selectable in UI options? The remaining cooldown time is hard to tell sometimes and in close battles it can make a huge difference to know if your next missile barrage will be ready in 15 or 40 seconds and not "umm its ready again soon".

I agree with the seconds thing. I kind of get what you are refering to in your second one and also agree. A more upgradable and customizable UI makes the game very fun.

Agree with this.

I also agree it is far better to read 1h 19m 47s then to do some major arithmetic in my head figuring out what over four thousand seconds is.

I have another suggestion to add myself. Let us pick the avatars for each faction not a set of 3 pictures. All of the sets have pictures I like combined with a picture I dont like.

I certainly wouldn't mind either.

4787 seconds are 1h 19m 47s (who could tell off the top of his head?)

3600 seconds is an hour.  4800 is 3600 + 1200.  1200 is 1/3rd of an hour.  It's clearly approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.  Yeah, I can tell that off the top of my head.  I like the second counter.  If it's a very large number, you shouldn't really care what the number is at all, it's just been a really really long time since you last took a peek.

i really hate those little squares in the empire tree that show all your ships and the like, when i have a full sized fleet on one planet i get a big yellow bar of squares that stretch halfway across the screen. i don't mind the second counters on planets, with seconds it looks more...spacey or...sci-fi-ey
