AntiScience: My (and your) Worthless Opinion

I'm very curious why 99% of the people that frequent this forum are decidedly anti-science.  That seems to be all I ever see: "just a theory" this or some scientific topic is a "religion", etc.

I know there is rampant scientific ignorance in the US and luckily the only people that hear the worthless opinions that come out of this forum are the people that have those worthless opinions.  As someone who actually does research I'm saddened whenever I see how ignorant people actually are.  For example, most people, including most here I'm sure, believe that the phases of the moon are caused by the earth's shadow, or that the seasons are caused by the distance from the earth to the sun, or that the sky is blue because of the oceans....I could go on as there are many, many more. (those are all incorrect by the way)

I won't be coming back to view the responses to this, I wanted to let you all know that before you go talking about some scientific topic that you probably know nothing about, it's best to do some research first, because by closing you mind you are only hurting yourself.  It's funny really, people will shit all over science until it can help them or someone they love. Science is the reason you are all alive today, and if you think different you are severely delusional.....unfortunately my simple suggestion  will never happen as it seems most people here are guided by a worthless bronze age fairy tale and nothing else (well maybe fox news).

Science doesn't claim to have the answers, as only an idiot would think that

(And yes, I am insulting 99% of the people on this forum. My opinion may be worthless, but at least I'm smart enough to know it )
