Yesterday, Stardock unveiled the much anticipated WindowBlinds 3 at a product launch which was held at MicroSoft in Southfield Michigan.

WindowBlinds 3 has been re-designed from scratch taking advantage of Windows XP new Visual Style API's making its skins native to the OS.

WindowBlinds 3 also boasts new features such as Smart Bars, Skin Cast, a simplified user interface, UIS3 skin language and enhanced performance and reliability.

I guess I'll be the first to comment on the new WB3 beta. Excellent work! It's noticeably faster on my Win98 box (P3-500, 128MB RAM, 32MB VRAM) than v2.2 ever was and even the most elaborate and memory-demanding skins (Macwintosh and the like) are much smoother under WB3. There are still a few graphical glitches (loading a Convergence skinpack from the Display Properties menu sometimes yields weird results) but all in all, this is the best WB yet!

I'll second that. It has had a lot of work put into making this the most impressive and intuitive WindowBlinds yet, and hits the mark with both.

Good job guys,

Martin
