Stem cells a hoax!?!

The truth has finally emerged:

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/01/10/science/10clone.html?_r=1

Now we know what we long suspected, stem cell research is all faked.  It is clearly a ploy by the abortion lobby and planned parenthood.  They make millions of dollars off of killing innocent little babies and they don't want it to stop.  Their public support is waning so they need a new way to keep people convinced that abortion is a good thing(otherwise their profit-driven genocide will be stopped by the good people of this God-fearing country).  So they turn to stem cells, which come from abortions(particularly partial birth abortions, where they induce labor and cut off the baby's head as soon as it comes out, it's called partial birth because they don't even bother to wait for the rest of the baby to emerge).  If they can convince people that stem cell research can one day cure many degenerative diseases, people will think maybe abortion is not all that bad.  Not so!  Their nefarious plot has been foiled by stemgate.  Stem cells are a hoax.  Don't believe the lies being spread by the abortion lobby.  I've looked at the research myself, and I've come to the conclusion that there's no reason to believe that undifferentiated cells can cure diseases like Alzheimer's.  Given how they're obtained, it's really no different than eating babies to stay young.

Great. Breaking news from almost 3 years ago. What were you doing waiting until it had aged sufficiently?

Here's some more breaking news, have you heard that the Titanic sunk?

Here's something a little more current that announces 13 new stem cell lines now approved for use by federally funded researchers. The article also points how the interest in stem cells has abated since it was shown in 2007 that mature cells can be forced back to the embryonic state.

Of course you do realize that a “line” of embryonic stem cells is propagated in vitro without the need for additional material from aborted fetuses, don’t you? The only need for new material is to establish a new line which besides abortions can also come from miscarriages or unused in vitro fertilized embryos which otherwise is material that is simply thrown out.

13 New Stem Cell Lines Open to Research

If there never was another abortion there would still be plenty of material to supply all possible need for new embryonic stem cells. However I do like your eating babies idea, sounds yummy.

I heard that Farming is all the rage now.

Not in California. Here, farmers in the central valley get around 10% of the water they need because a little 2" fish needs 'protecting'.

Guys look, stem cell therapy is already available for pets.  Some live, some don't survive the process.  It hasn't made breaking news because it involves a different type of stem cell other than fetal and the public is conviced it absolutely has to be fetal or it's bad.

The less obvious problem is that no insurance company will ever cover stem cell therapy in any form, far too dangerous.  The odds of stem cells developing into a malignant tumor is very high.  It's like playing Russian Roulette.  So unless you have a terminal illness with nothing to lose then stem cell therapy is not a viable option except in the most forlorn hopeless cases.  That is why you haven’t seen any super breakthrough news flashed all over the headlines lately.
