Banned for allowing yourself to be nailed.

First of all, you're going to ask if Adam Lambert is gay?

And I'm not talking about quality of music or whatever. I'm talking about knowing tons of female fans that get all wet in the panties when they hear Coldplay while knowing no male fans of the band. So, you can see why at least 'Metro' might come into play.

As for Lady Gaga or Beyonce, allow me to set fire to my scalp and try to put it out with a sledge hammer.
End of Draakjacht's quote

1. Banned for not banning.

2. I dont care if the artist/performer/musician is gay, metro, transexual, bi-sexual, or whatever. All I care is about the music.

3. The musician is supposed to be faceless. I consider the people who dont chase fame and money to be some of the best musicians in the world.

RE: Adam Lambert: Do I care if he is gay? Do I see to care? >_> Unless you want to marry him, then you shouldnt care as well.

RE: Coldplay: Your argument is both lame and irrelevant to everything I said. I dont freaking care if girls like Coldplay. Apparently, there is a weird notion to our society, that says that guys should listen to hardcore Rap/Hip-hop/Heavy Metal/New Metal/etc (you get the point), and if they listen to anything else (aka stuff that most girls listen to), are considered gay.

Now that I am done explaining to Draak that 1 + 1 = 2, let me say a few things:

1. I am NOT a normal person, and I dont "go with the flow". In fact, I am pretty much against everything that our society is today, including crappy notions like the one you aspire to.

2. I didnt realize that you were so shallow and naive Draak. My bad.

3. If you listen to a song that is praising Satan, and you like that song, does that make you a Satanist?

4. The music industry is just purely business nowadays, unlike 30+ years ago, where some people did it because they loved music (singers, song writers, whatever). The music industry is now corrupt, and is purely guided by the modern notions of society, and controlled by the whole system.

I also like Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Paramore, and many others.

@Draak: In the end, I dont really care what you, or anyone else think. I will listen to whatever the hell I want, and if you wanna call me gay or something, then go ahead and do so.

P.S. Of course if the artist is a murderer/rapist/hardore criminal, then I am not gonna support them, as you can understand.

banned for being so fascinated with the upside down.

As for playing what other people don't, if it's not his own work, then someone else did it.

As for the music industry 30 years ago, it was still a business to make money. If you look into the detailed history of any band, the people around them have always been there because they've seen potential for money. No one does it for free. Corruption in a business is relative. The goal is to make money. Breaking the law is one thing, but there are no requirements for businesses to be saints or aim to achieve anything other than profit. Always true.

As far as the notion of our society is concerned, I think the way I do. If that is in line with society or not, I don't care. If everyone chooses to go the opposite of the norm, then that just changes the norm. I'll give you grief. Hell, a lot of people will. Some of us do it cause we're guys and we're okay with making fun of on another. Do I really care in the long run what you listen to? No. Will I poke fun if you bring it up? Yes. Would I be cool with you doing the same? Yes.

Nobody said that businesses are not meant to make money. Of course every business' goal is to make money, and nobody works for free. And the music industry was, is, and will be a business.

But my point was, that there is a main reason why people make music. Some do it for fame, some do it for money, some do it for money AND fame, but there are some people that make music mainly because they love it. They love a specific type of music, or a specific instrument, or just singing. If your main reason why you're playing the piano is to just do what you love, and follow your dream, then that is something really noble, and it shows on your performances. I really respect that, and its extremely rare these days.

I didnt say that businesses need to be saints or something. I didnt say that it is wrong to make money. I just said that the people who do it mainly for other reasons than money and/or fame, are to be respected, and the love they put on their music really shows.

And of course corruption is relative, not just in business, but in everything. And for the record, our whole society/system is corrupt, not just businesses.

Yes, the masses make the norm, and if that norm is good or bad, moral or immoral, is irrelevant to the standards of our society. Thats why our society is corrupt. Hell, everyone is corrupt at least just a little (IMO). Every single human being alive.

I am never in line with society, and in fact, sometimes I really like it.

Just dont think that by saying: "banned cause Coldplay? really? ....gay" makes you look better or smarter. It just makes YOU look bad.

And I know you dont care, and I dont as well, but I am just saying.

Come on Draak, you are a big kid. You should be able to understand a few things. All I have to say about the whole subject is this:

@Draak: In the end, I dont really care what you, or anyone else think. I will listen to whatever the hell I want, and if you wanna call me gay or something, then go ahead and do so.

Banned because I just got back from another circular Odyssey through the medical system, courtesy of my mother. Plus, she got a whole "host" of new ways to make my life slightly but continually more annoying. And I have to make up this giant math test at 7:40 Wednesday morning.
