My cat Jessie ate like five feet of thread a few years ago, and the vet had to remove it surgically. I couldn't believe that enormous wad had fit into such a tiny little cat...
banned for I think it would pass... of course, you'd have to clip it off every foot or so.
banned for it's not the cat you're clipping, but approaching its ass with scissors might unsettle it.
Banned for, no. I saw you clipping that cat the other day! 
That was horrible, man. You killed the poor kitty. How could you do such a thing?

banned for I swear it was already dead! I just figured why put it to waste? Besides, Halloween is coming up and my friend's kid needs a costume. He'll be the most believable kitty on the block!

A raccoon would be nicer, and there are plenty of those on the side of the road (road-kills).

Banned because Davy Crockett was an American historical figure who may or may not have actually existed. They made a propagandistic kids' show about him a long time ago, and he always wore a hat made out of raccoon skin on his head, complete with tail. It looked really stupid.
banned because Davy Crockett was a real person, without question. He served several terms in teh House of Representatives and died defending the Alamo. Just like many figures, many are familiar with inaccurate or embelished tales concerning his life, but he was not fictional. If you wish to know more about him, Wikipedia has a reasonable article on the subject.

banned for I know a few articles that are inaccurate, so I quickly went over their article on Davy just to see if it was okay. It was lacking in some areas, but would suffice for a brief familiarization.
Banned for most of Wiki's articles are at least 90% accurate.

banned for sometimes the inaccuracy is in an important place. Like I said, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to send someone there without at least knowing what they have.

Yes, like giving a .com site for the White House, telling people it's where you can find out anything you want about the Executive branch of government. After spending about an hour on the site, they finally decide to go check out .gov.
banned for my purpose in life should be to lead the blind... blindly.
Banned for I downloaded a .arc file, (which is sort of like a .rar file), total size of 606 MB. I extracted its contents, to find out that it had compressed 3.60 GB into one 606 MB file. Impressive!
