What is the difference between "Alliances" and "Team" ?
Both are blue lines on the treaty web, but the 'Team' is dark blue and the alliance one is more teal. How do I make a team, and is that better than an alliance?

The difference is that 'Alliance' can be terminated (by toggling "Break Alliance" in the Foreign Policy screen to the left). In ' Team' this is not possible, so AFAIK you can´t attack your team-partner or impose a trade embargo on him.
'Team' can´t be created in-game, you´ll have to set it ("Relations") on the last starting-screen where you select your opponents.
Please notice any relations set better than 'Friendly' can´t be played as MV game. Because of this reason I´ve never played a game with that relation, but it would be interesting to know what will happen if somebody declares war on my team-partner? Is there the same screen as in alliance, or will I automatically join into the war?
I think you will automatically join the war - after all, the Team can't be broken. No choice, just like the Super-Organizer thing.
Yes it would be logical for it to be so, at least that would reason the differentiation up. But if there´s no way to escape that Team-status I wonder what happens if you
1. deselect all victory conditions except "Military win"
2. conquer all enemies except your partner.
Will the game be won and also count as Military win (although it really more resembles a Political victory...)?
I am pretty sure that it will still count as a military victory because you are in a team although it resembles alliance victory. But an interesting point nonetheless.
I wonder what would have happened if you were a philosopher? ![]()
Ok thanks a lot guys
