Is This Game Dead?

Where is everyone? Where should I be playing? I go under Custom Games and I only see 2 games, One is FULL and the Other has just ONE person in it. I go to Pantheon and I have been in queue for at least 10minutes with NOTHING happening.

Where is everyone? What should a player, that wants to play Demigod with people online, should do?

What sucks? There are a lot of games in progress right now.

Try to play when it is not Sunday evening or Monady 6AM (EU). Contrary to what most people think even gamers require the odd hour of sleep every now and then. ;)

Oh and you can host your own game as well. Put 'new players' in your game title to avoid getting stomped by experienced players.

And you can download replays here and improve your gameplay: http://www.gamereplays.org/demigod/

host your own game, you get game a lot faster that way. I think people are just afraid to host there own games for some reason...

Dead?? Lol, when ever i get to the lobby i always see atleast 8-12 games open. ( wich is more then before 1.2 )

And compared to other online games Demigod doesnt show games in progress in the lobby or Pantheon.

Wait for 10 min in pantheon could mean a alot of games being played at that time ( yeah all at the same time )

Also people shoulnd be scared to open/host a game. Hosting a game is a nice way to keep it all going. ;)

The game is not dead. If no custom game is open, simply host one.

Trust me, it mainly depends on your hours. In the few times I've tried Demigod multiplayer, I've only found a few servers pretty much because the Australian day is during America and EU's night. And because I study/go to school, I sort of need sleep hours; at least during the week-days. What area do you live in? We could probably tell you what's the best time to paly if you want to find the majority of servers, although watch out for the fact that people from different areas sometimes have issues playing online with each-other (connectivity issues).

Not dead what I can see. When I am on at least 6-10 games is on in the lobby, if there is noboy that suits you you can simply host one.

Being dead implies that the game went through a process of dying.  The game never had a high population to begin with, and it isn't noticably less active than when it first came out, so I'd say no, the game is not dead.

If some good mods come out this game will be back on everyones buy list. All it takes is a few good mods to bring a game back to life. In my honest opinion i think it is up to the gamers whether or not this game survives or not ... unless GPG releases a ton of new content.

I think the Tournaments would bring a LOT of people back. What ever happened to those?

No idea... I think fixing old and new bugs plus fixing the chat etc would bring a lot of people back. Or at least make people stop quitting :)

Yuh, I can't find the post where Frogboy said 'We got soandso amount of mula for tourneys!'

Ok, that's not a direct quote, a paraphrase of what I hardly remember, but still! Something with that basic idea was said.
