Speedway In Lights

Local Speedway Charity Event!

 Happy Holidays fellow Wincustomizers!!!

Last night, my wife and I decided we wanted to go out and find some holiday joy. We had just gotten a few inches of snow and were in a festive spirit! If any of you out there are fellow rednecks, and we know you are, you may know about what I'm about to tell. Race fans may also know. Maybe some of your towns and cities have similar charities and/or attractions.

Anyway, we ended up going to Bristol Motor Speedway, in Bristol, Tennessee. About 55 miles from our home in Greeneville, Tn. They have an annual charity event featuring millions of holiday lights and effects! Proceeds go to childrens charities! We went and we got to drive on the track!!! (Now you know I'm a redneck, I get real excited when I get to drive on the track!!)  There are millions of lights, food, drinks, an ice skating rink, etc. They also have a local radio station play music on the air that is in sync with the lights!

Well, naturally, we took our Kodak. It ain't much of a camera, and we ain't photograffers, but we did ok. So I thought I'd try and share a bit of holiday joy with yuns, and if I don't break the forums, or blackout photobucket, I'll share some shots.  Be sure to check the external link above to find out more about this charitable event!

That said, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Feliz Navidad,etc....!!!  I hope you enjoy the shots!

I popped a mono on my 750 Honda on the Archerfield Speedway track here in Oz a few years ago... and according to witnesses the top of my butt crack was showing.  Does that make me a rednenck????

BTW, nic pics... and nice lights, woulda been one heck of a spectacle to take in.

Sometimes when I'm out, it can be in the street, a supermarket, whatever, and I get an itch inside my underwear I'll scratch it.

Other times, when I'm in a restaraunt, and I've guzzled a bit of coke with my meal, I'll burp quite loudly and excuse myself by saying it's considered a compliment in some cultures.

Guess that makes me a redneck :-"

You are a sweet guy, Jim. Period. Thanks for all the pictures! A Pirate Ship, a Menorah....I couldn't ask for more! And better than that? You had a great date, and supported a wonderful cause. I'm proud of you!

But the truth was revealed in the second Photo!

Viewers: Please note the bottom right of the picture! YES!   Po' is mentioned.

"I blame skinhit!".

He undoubtedly placed a subliminal suggestion to go there on you with his infernal icons (which I love...another victim!).

Happy Holidays, Jim! You and your deserve them (as do we all!).....You're a great pillar of this Community!
