Need help

Hi, I’m having some problems and was hoping someone might know where I’ve gone wrong.

I’m using OD Plus now and at first everything was great but now I’m having trouble using the forum while my tabbed dock is running. I use the recent forum and after posting or reading a thread I go to the bottom and hit “View all recent posts” but the link isn’t a link when my tabbed dock is running. If I minimize the window it becomes a link again or if I quit OD Plus everything works again. The links right across from “View all recent posts” work fine i.e. “Mark all posts as read  •  Delete cookies created by the forum”.

Also I notice that the top of the window does to fully go to the top of the screen but stops just short of the tabs. I’m not sure how I fixed that but while trying to fix this latest issue I’ve managed to get that again.

Also every time I reboot I get a message saying, “ODZip.dll not found in the DesktopX directory or in the Stardock common files directory.

OK I wrote this yesterday but wanted to try an uninstall and reinstall before bothering anyone. I did and am not using any docks at all and am having all of the problems I mentioned above. The only way I can get everything to work properly is to uninstall OD Plus which of course means I have no docks.

I figure I’m new at this and am doing something wrong, thanks for any help.

Under the "Positioning" tab, uncheck "Reserve edge of screen."

Not sure about your problem with the forum, though.

Thanks I’ll do that. I always assume that when something’s not right it’s on my end and I’m thinking this again.

I don’t have OD Plus running but it is installed, had all the problems I mentioned. I tried to do a restore for a couple of months ago and was told it could not as nothing has changed. I did end up doing a hard reboot and now the links are all working. Now I’ll try running OD Plus and doing what you advised, hopefully...

Well I gave it a try and I'm right back where I started. I quit OD Plus and the links are back.

Don...also take a look to see that something in your dock isn't connecting to the net.

Also...what kind of screen resolution are you using? Could your video drivers not be up to date?

Have you tried clearing the browser cache and it's cookies?

Well it looks like I made four docks without realizing it. While I was looking for something I noticed them in the menu. I removed them and have one running now. All links work fine. Thanks for the help.

O:)   XD XO

Ya know, I almost asked if you did that, but I figured; no, no he wouldn't have done that!

What messed me up is some how I made it so they didn’t show even when I moused over them.XD
