Why can't I build a Star Fury?

I could in my last game . . . What gives?  I've pretty far down into all the research trees (I've got lasers, etc) so could this be a bug, or something?  I doubt it is, I've probably missed something.

Could someone tell me the bare minimum requirements for building a Star Fury?  Better yet, is there guide somewhere that tells you what you need for each ship?  I'm running Dread Lords (GOTY) 1.53.  Any help is appreciated!

Why would you want to build a Star Fury? They're the worst pre-made unit in the game.

If you got Lasers then you can also build Star Fury's....

Maybe you´ve obsoleted them. Try reloading the game and see if they then appear.
