Fences crashing

I first installed Fences when I was running Vista 64 bit and all seemed to work just fine.  I have since upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and after two plus weeks have experienced what seems to be a crash of Fences.  What happens is that the fences open correctly, but all of the icons show up on the right hand side of the screen.  I uninstalled Fences and reinstalled a fresh copy.  Still the same problem after 24 hours of use.  Is there a bug here or is fences allergic to my setup?
