Hello again, I give you yet another disabled/deactivated item, the Ring of Greed. I have not modified it at all, it is as the developers made it. costs 1000 gold and gives you a nice 20% discount in all items. Greeeeeeed!!

Wow, that is ridiculous, I can see why they got rid of it.
On second thought, one does have to wonder if it actually would be, counter-intitively, less helpful than an armor item. Lack of other bonus such as hp, may actually cost you more than the bonus. Imagine being short on mana due to 1 less helm, or hp due to less armor. Interesting to think of balance for this item.
This could very easily be exploited. As far as I know it is possible to drop items to the floor (though I have never done it). So one of the team buy the ring and then drop it. When someone want to go shopping he pick up the ring (and if he has not enough space drop some other item before) and buy what he needs. Then he drops the ring so others could use it. So basically the cost for all team members is reduced by 20% for 1000 gold. I think this ring would be probably on of the first investments in every game. Even if it would not be possible to drop items it there would be some break even point when it is cheaper to buy that greedy ring (and sell some item if you have not enough space) then buy the item you want and then sell the ring to buy back that item you had at the place of the ring before.
LOL guys! i am not enabling these items so that they can be used in Multiplayer. But rather in Singleplayer for fun.
Anyway check out Cloak of Invisibility it is really fun!
I understand that. I only wanted to describe why the developers removed the item from the game. Though I think the item could be used in multiplayer if all players have that mod and enable it. So all this fun items could also be used in multiplayer if all players agree to it.

You can with the following loop:
Pick Favor
Purchase Ring of Greed
Purchase cheap item (-500*.65 == -325 g)
Drop cheap item
Teammate picks up and sells cheap item (+500*.8 == +400 g)
Of course, this lasts only as long as the 'feeder' has gold reserves. You could then alternate by after the first player exhausing their gold, the second player picks up their favor item (Magic Coin Pouch) and then buys items for BOTH players, which he would be able to do since he would have a huge gold reserve (larger than the combined total of both players at the start).
For efficiency, you wouldn't want to do this at the start, but rather in the mid-game or so. Say, second shop. If you didn't buy anything first shop, you would easily have 3k and you could then buy roughly 6k worth of items. Each.
But yeah....
Hmm that doesn't sound too bad though because you also lose out on any kind of useful favor item.
