WindowBlinds 7 Released!

Stardock released WindowBlinds 7 today. WindowBlinds is a program that allows users to customize the user interface of Microsoft Windows. By applying “skins,” WindowBlinds can easily change nearly every element of the Windows experience including the task bar, Start menu, window borders, scrollbars, push buttons, and much more.

WindowBlinds 7 includes a host of new features and adds native support for Windows 7. Amongst its new features is the ability to “skin Aero.”  WindowBlinds 7 includes a new configuration program that makes it easy to access the new features of the program. For example, users can now add their own textures to existing skins.

WindowBlinds 7 is available as a free download. It costs $19.95 to register or can be purchased for $49.95 as part of Object Desktop, Stardock’s full suite of desktop enhancement programs. Users of previous versions of WindowBlinds can upgrade for $9.95.

They did, If I'm not mistaken, Sabertooth is a new skin included in this release! I like it from the preview, haven't run it yet.

1° where are the default ones stored ?

2° how to link a particular background texture to a specific WB (and keep it in memory) as it was previously the case with WB6 ?

Thanks ;P

Just open it and you'll see an update button flashing. ;)
do i uninstall the beta or just update?
Just update over it. And make sure you have it set to archive (In preferences) before updating in case thats something you wanted. ;)

Is WB 7 available as a standalone download with installer or does one have to go through Impulse to download and install?

I bought it separately yesterday and the email gives your serial and a link to download Impulse and then WB7. ;) I liked the native 7 GUI but was beginning to yearn for some hot skinning action so WV7 is a timely godesnd. :D
