Custom race keeps coming back

I created a custom race for one game. Now every game I play with random races includes it (and strange, other random races not part of the original set). How do I reset it so that when I start a game with random races, all the races are the original ones?

I think you should copy the race's file to another location. It can't select what it can't see, and you don't lose your custom races either ;)

It should be in the My Games folder of the game, right where the saved games are. If the race was created for a metaverse game, it should be in the Metaverse sub-folder.
