Appling Theme in windows 7

When I apply my montreal canadiens theme,my taskbar will not turn red but goes to windows 95 style .I don't like this is there anyway of getting the red taskbar back...Using windows 7 ultimate......Please help..Thank you

If you right-click on the taskbar and select Properties then put a check mark in Use small icons and click apply ..... does that help?

I find the small icons better anyway, especially on my netbook.  Screen real estate is very important to me.
