First off...I don't see you submitting anything to the galleries.  Second of all, these "three or so uploaders" aren't getting paid for their art -- they're donating it.  Sometimes, when it comes to getting things for free, you have to dig to find what you want.  You could always click the "search by ratings" section and filter through things that way.

I don't submit anything because I am talentless but I know it!  There is a lot of good stuff here from many talented folks.  Again, you did not answer my question.  Is there a prize for numbers?

Scan the screen shots. If you see something that's interesting, zoom. Make note of the artists who consistently produce works to your liking.

It looks like you have been a member for quite sometime so you really are aware that some folks upload skins at times in bunches and then have a dry spell, for lack of a better phrase.

If you have some favorite skinners you can just go thier personal pages and see what new skins they have uploaded.

Another thing to remember is it takes lots of practice making skins before the skinner developes the talent and skills that help them improve.  Take a look at some of the very early skins of the folks you now like, bet you see that they improved.

I even bet you that what you now think of as quality is probably different from when you started downloading.

Give folks a chance, they may turn into tomorrows Master Skinners.

Sometimes I wonder myself, it's a shame to see something pushed off the first page of a gallery before it has a chance to shine.

If by that you mean be noticed and get lots of downloads then check out Today's Favorites or Most Popular Galleries, it's bound to show up there.

Philly, I have no problem looking through the galleries. However you have me wondering as to where the Todays Favorites and the Most Popular buttons or tabs are. When I go into the galleries on the left side is a menu bar. I see the arrow for the drop down menu but it's to far to read what is on it. all I get is a couple of last letters to see. My screen resolution is 1680x1050 and it's just to far to the left.

Use the filters at the top to filter by popularity, etc..

Hi Dave! Go to the Galleries Page from the Home Page upper bar. You'll see it all laid out. And as HG pointed out you can then sort with the dropdown menu. 

Todays Favorites are on the Home Page to the right of the Featured Skin.

Most Popular is under The Gallery tab to the right of Newest.

click on the "gallery" button on the menu bar, should take you to this page.

I'm right on top of things even after 2 years. I usually just go and look around on the 1000 pages. more fun that way.

It's hard to tell with out seeing the page.  Post a screenshot or link.

I see HG page with 16 skins on it and mine doesn't ever look like that. It only has 12 skins on it with a rather large Windows blind add on top. however the information is above that.

It's time to hit the hay now but tomorrow night I will post a shot. I will look for this thread but if I can't find it I will start a different one, thanks all.

just a guess here but by the description you are not a paid subscriber, right?

 different WYSIWYG, paid subscription, no ads and can have more previews. I'm sure there are other differences those are just that jump out.

Davebax, what browser are you using? at 1680 wide you should have extra space on both sides...I believe the page is setup for 1024 wide screens. You may have "zoomed" the page in past and not reset it.

Try this......hold down the CTRL key and scroll the mouse wheel back and forth.....
