Jar Jar Binks.
Well, it probably depends on the era, but I'm assuming it's probably around the movies. And I'm probably to biased to give a fair opinion, but if i I don't think their is much in Sins that can stand up to a Super Star Destroyer, and certainly not the Eclipse or a Death Star. The force versus Psytech might be an interesting contest though. ![]()
star wars owns.
isnt one fighter or squadron enough to destroy it?
(btw. I am behind proxy so I cannot check the link - but this should be star trek vs star wars fighters - http://enterprisevsties.ytmnd.com/ or this http://laserstarwars.ytmnd.com/) and since Sins looks kinda similar to Star Trek in terms of technology ![]()
The death star isn't so mighty after all. A couple of new agey loons who claim to believe in the so called 'force' managed to destroy it after all.
There are a few problems with your proposition:
-Are we comparing two universes? Because then you run into opinion based arguments, which are pretty much useless for comparing two things.
-Are you asking which IP wins in profitability? In which case, are you only counting the movies? What about non-canon novels? Are you adjusting for inflation?
-If you're asking whose spaceships would win in a fight, there are a ton of questions that need answering. Which movie are we taking the technological basis from? Are we talking into account The Old Republic? What about the books after Episode VI? Are you making the supposition that the Rebels and the Empire might join forces out of a common foe, or are they also still fighting each other? Do the different factions from Sins join forces for that matter? Do pirate raids come into play?
These are the things that need to be straightened out before we declare a winner.
If it's Star Trek level techonolgoy in Sins then I'd definitely assume Sins would win. Say you take Star Trek vs. Star Wars, there's just no effort whatsoever of playing by any reasonable rules in the Star Trek universe. Food is created out of thin air, people and objects can be warped into ships, etc. etc. Stark Trek just doesn't make an attempt at realism, which isn't to say Star Wars is realistic, but if you pit two fighters against each other my money's on the one with a pocket full of salt and a knife.
