Status Ready, but not ready really...

I have been using Ready TO Play for sometime now. So far I have played with about 2-3 people on there. I would say over 90% of my reqests to play with people go unanswered. Only once has someone declined, which funilly enough I was happy when it happened as at least I knew they did not want to play that game. There are quite a few regulars there that are always on Ready and NEVER resbond when I invite. These guys are spoiling Ready to Play in my opinion. Why go on Ready when you are either away from keyboard, or you dont want to play?

For starters I reccomend that the ignore button is removed. When a invite has been sent, it should either be accept or decline. If you must leave the ignore button on, then when it is used it should change player status to available.

Also if Ready to Play is open and people are idling they should automatically be placed on unavailable after 5 minutes. If someone really wants to play they need to be there ready to play!!! |-)

that last bit has already been mentioned, i'd say the way msn and such go about it would be the best idea, with it autochaning your status to away if you haven't moved the mouse or anything for a few mins, and to busy if you're in a fullscreen game. And sorry trance, i'm just not really into 1v1's >.<

Hey eetmorsqrls. I see you on RTP at the moment  |-)

I like 1v1's but I also like 2v2 or 3v3. But usually its hard to get a balanced good game more people there is. So I like to play with less.

In your case if I ever invited you, you just say not into 1v1's buddy, and then I will be aware so next time when I want to play a 1v1 I won't invite you. However if I want to play a 2v2 or more then I will.

Another feature I just thought about is having your own RTP page where you can state such prefences. It can be like your homepage for others to read. In your case eetmorsqrls, it can say not into 1v1 >.< lol

Player can state what and how they like to play games. Maybe say when they will be online if others wish to meet and play. Also there should be stats to show which games players play and how long they spend playing them like on steam. This will give a good indication to someone looking to invite whether to bother or not.

Right now people like my self shoot off invites knowing nother about people and get no results.

I hope that's helpful to the developers :D

Oh and also there should be manual categories we can create and put players into each area. For example in the case of eetmorsqrls, if I was only interested in 1v1's I can make a category "not into 1v1's" and stick him in there. Then I can remember not to bother him. I mean when this comes out of beta there will hopefully be a lot more people using it. So imagine, your not going to remember what someone told you a few weeks ago and invite him again.
