Halloween This Weekend!

The time has finally arrived for Halloween!  I literally cannot wait.  I don't know why I get so excited about this time of year, but I do.  Not more than the holiday season, but it probably comes in as a close runner-up.  My husband and I have picked out our medieval costumes, after lots of mind-changing.  He is going to be a knight and I am going to be a princess. It is going to be awesome.  Our trip to Fear Fast this past weekend really got us pumped up for it.  I've been working hard all week getting our costumes together. My husband's really happy with his costume, which was my aim.  I'm so excited to take pictures together in our costumes.

I have a Halloween bridal shower to go to that morning, where I will premiere my costume to my friends.  And then later that night my husband and I are going to a Halloween dance party at this awesome place in our city called The Hedge.  I can't wait to get ready for the day with my hot tools curling iron and this to give me that romantic princess look.  My dress is amazing.  I got it at my local Salvation Army and Bedazzled the crap out of it lol.  I've got a tiara from my wedding that I'm going to wear (part of the shower dress code) and I've got some really great shoes to match my dress.  I'm so glad they are comfy shoes since I'm going to have to wear them pretty much all day long. 

Right now I'm taking a break from the Halloween excitement and getting some stuff done around my house.  Definitely not as fun, but definitely needs to be done.  My house looks like a disaster area after making those costumes and I've neglected all my chores.  I'm watching some Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien while I do it, which is the best.  I hope your Halloween is great this weekend.  Remember that you are never too old to enjoy Halloween!  Peace.
