May have lost all my work......I need your help

Ok call me stupid for not backing up my files properly!

My external hard drive where I keep all my graphics just went on the floor and said boom!

As of now I can't read anything off it and it's making funny noises. There is a possibility that I can get someone to extract the files off the HD, but I'm not sure.

Here's where some of you can help me out: I know that I have sent .zipped files containing all the images for certian skins to people.

If you are one of those, please say so here in case I'm unsucsessfull in retrivinng the data from the damaged HD.

My email addy is: [email protected]

I am just kicking my own ass over this and have learned a valuable lesson

UPDATE:

I (through the help of my great friends here at WC) have now fully recovered base graphics for:

Assimilation V2

ZubaZ

Fools Gold

Solid State

I have partial (the most important bits) for:

SDN

Magnetek

My WIP Softer

Thanks again to my friends that have helped me out 5* 5* 5* 5* 5*

Redundancy in backups is as important as the backups themselves....

I just had a look on eBay, there's prices there that beat the ones on the linked sites hands down.

XD I was just kind of being sarcastic when I asked but wow yeah those prices look alot better in real dollars. I'll have to keep that one in mind since I'm pretty certain the 250gb and 500gb backups I already have will both be maxed in the next few months. So thanks for that sydney.  ;)

Data recovery services from Stellar Phoenix is best as i suppose. They had helped me in retrieving files form physically damaged hard drive full of 2 TB's of data stored on it. Wish I've had found this thread at the time of that critical phase.

And the Threadmaster said "Arise oh necrothread" and so it arose :P

I suggest after six years the data has either been recovered or is gone for good... ;)
