Fear Fest and Baby Sprinkle

I have had such a great weekend this weekend.  I've gotten to do things that I really wanted to do and be with friends that I love to be with.  I love weekends like this.  Last night I got to go to Fear Fest (now known as Halloween Haunt) at Kings Island with my husband.  Its the first time either of us has gotten to go, and we were both so excited to go.  I've wanted to go for years, but either I was the only one who wanted to go or my schedule wouldn't allow it.  Not this year, though.  It was so cool.  All of the rides were open in the park, and they had 11 different haunted house you could walk through.  It's at night time and they fill the entire park with fog.  Its really creepy when one of the scary characters they have walking around sneaks up on you and scares you.  That happened to me a couple times.  I think they like to pick on girls because they know that they scare more easily.  We had discount tickets too, which made it even better :)

Today I got to go to a baby shower, technically a baby sprinkle, for a very close friend of mine.  Its called a baby sprinkle because its not her first child.  So she didn't need like pregnancy resources or anything like that.  But it is her first baby boy, so she definitely needed certain stuff.  She got lots of diapers, clothes, thomas tank engine stuff, and these kind of toys.  My friend who threw the shower did such a great job too.  We played a baby boy name word search which had like 50 names on it.  It got pretty intense at some parts, but was really fun.  We also played the price is right with baby products, which I lost horribly at.  It was really fun too though.  I got to hang out with some friends I don't normally get to hang out with, so it was a great time.

Now I'm just hanging out at home with my husband and some of our friends after the Bengals' game.  It was really fun to have them going nuts over the game.  I'm taking a break from all their craziness right now in our office.  I'm listening to this song from Glee, which is one of my favorite songs they've done.  I really liked this past week's episode because we finally got to hear Emma sing.  She couldn't have sang a better song either.  I Could Have Danced All Night is one of my all time favorite songs.  Well, I guess I'm going to go back and join the crowd.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.  Peace.
