I am a newbie to Stardock etc. and I purchased Object Desktop Ultimate   I am with lots of time trying to understand

the different softwares.  I am buried in tutorial paperwork however, even after reading these manuals I

still cannot figure out why when I download themes from WindowsBlind 6 program, all the features are

not on my desktop ex:  wallpaper, icons, and whatever features were included in the particular theme.

I then found a few wallpapers for some themes I had downloaded in a separate folder.

There are some themes that I download from theme manager  and I will receive a message, for

ex "wallpaper not downloaded from window blind"  I then go to window blind and can't seem to find

anything after searching page after page which by the way, is there a search area where I can put

the name of the theme and not have to flips tons of pages ????

Seems as though Window Blinds is not the same as MyColors which is what I wanted from the beginning.

okkkk,  with all this being said, is there someone that can help me or do I just keep doing

what I am doing and looking for the inclusions separately.   I have emailed support and receive a

response days later and the question is not addressed properly. 

I thank you for taking time in reading my issues and hope I can resolve them without having to request

a refund.  I do like this program very much and want to keep it but not if it doesn't get easier  :)

p.s.  I have yet to see or find any of the sidebar widgets that are included in the themes as well  :(

lollll I won't even go into the other features I have such as icon developer and skin studio,,,,,,,I am a

simple person here wanting a simple theme with all the features included :)

Precyyse52 you mentioned that you want through some tutortials, which is good.  Did you check out the WinCustomize Wiki?  It goes through and explains each program and it also has some tutorials.  check the following link and see if it doesn't help explain things somewhat better for you. http://wiki.wincustomize.com/wiki/Main_Page

You are correct windowblinds is not my colors & nor should it be,sometimes a wallpaper maybe included the reason for that is the skinners frequently get asked for said wallpaper.

The windowblind preview window before applying any particular blind shows exactly what is about to be applied,there are no icons,widgets or docks etc.

Objectdesktop apart from dx themes & theme manager allows one to mix n match to suit your own tastes with skins & icons from the skin gallery in simple terms your making your own theme up from bits n bobs

If you're just downloading a windowblind that won't include the other things, some may have walls included with them but not icons and such. If you're looking for things to match the windowblind then use the search function that Hankers showed and search the name of the blind to try and find other matching skins or icons.

If you want simplicity in applying a cohesive theme with a single click of a button then look into the MyColors themes (there are some good free ones available too) or install ThemeManager and check through the Suites gallery on Wincustomize.
