Good Place to Find AGP graphics cards?

I'm asking this question since my computer (As you may guess from the title) uses an AGP slot, which is pretty clearly old, but the computer itself functions well, and I'd rather not get a full new one, or mess around with new motherboards and such, until I really need to.  However, there are some games coming out/that are already out that are a bit too much for the current card. (This s to explain the question, and avoid people arguing that I should just get a new computer.  This one does have quite a lot of RAM, hard drive space, processor power, etc., the graphics card is the big weak point.)

I've checked out a few of the expected places, but haven't found much.  I'll be sure ot check out some more, but extra information is always useful.  :)

I recommend Ebay, strangely enough, I was able to purchase - some time ago I might add - a Geforce 7800GTX 512mb AGP8x for AU$150.00, which is pretty cheap.

Newegg still has a few AGP cards.

I recently purchased an AGP card (Nvidia 6200 512 MB) for under $50 for upgrading my older computer!

I had to get memory from Ebay, cuz the Newegg sticks I ordered didn't work on my computer.

The Ebay ones were cheaper and no shipping!

I did a Google search to find 'em.

i got a brand new HD 3650 512Mb AGP card from ebay, it cost me $55.  It's well worth having a look there. Good luck

Just be aware that good AGP cards will cost you far more than an equivalet PCI-E card.  You can find stuff that was mid-range years ago (like the 7800 and 3650 mentioned) for fair prices, but anything more powerful than that will be difficult to find at a sane price.  If you really want to play modern games at the highest settings, it may just be time to consider a new computer/major upgrade.  It's not worth paying 50% more for a video card just to get a few more months out of your current one.

I was able ot find something for about 50$ on newegg (thanks to the person who suggested it, I had looked before but had difficulty finding something for some reason.)

@Ibgsloan:  I have noticed how the card I got is at about the limit of where AGP cards can go.  I do tend ot stick to games with lower system requirements, though, so hopefully this one will last a good amount of time  (the main games I was focusing on for this card were elemental and demigod, though there may be others of interest that have relatively low system requirements that I would be interested in playing.)

lol, the 3650 came out in 2008 not years ago... exact date is march 17th 2008. But your point is correct
