Good Morning,

I justed downloaded the last update and now Ready to Play always starts up on my machine on boot, even when I do not have run on startup enabled.

I have the same issue. Re-toggling the "run when I log into Windows" check box doesn't change this behaviour.

Me too. And I find it very annoying with it taking up more memory bandwith than windows explorer at 26k.

UPDATE: it is so bad as a startup resource hog, that it adds several seconds to my startup time. I guess its seraching for an internet connection or something, but I think im gonna have to uninstall until its fixed.

UPDATE 2: not several seconds, over a minute, minute and a half I think.

Still happening with the latest release.

When R2P installes, it does get set to start on launch, in the previous release it would not change even if the option was unchecked on the configuration screen.  That was fixed, so if you uncheck it now it should be removed from the list of startup programs.

Let me know if that works or not.

Well, it appears that when updated, it reverts to launching on start, even if the box appears unchecked. I was able to resolve this by checking the box, unchecking it, and then restarting.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to check the section where it was reading the value.

Glad its working for you though :)
