"McSteamy" and "Rigging Problems"
Just finished this test. Though I'd put it up as the new Demigod are coming out. Working title is Mc-Steamy (Cause it's stupid and I can come up with one better later.) Back story involves the demigod being from a race that drain magic so they can't cast spells. So he makes a giant steam powered suit of steel and bronze. Size is bigger then Oak but Smaller then the Rook. Currently he's around 12,000 polygon so I'll have to reduce that further if I actually want to use him in the game. I think the steam effect will run in the game but I'm having problem testing with out the SDK. It's only 400 particles in all. I know the self reflection is impossible to run in real time but I think I can get the rest of the texture problem.
Model Number 2 currently named "Rigging Problems"
Currently 7000 Polygon. I had him in the game but I played his arm back to far in the model so he walked funny. When I get some free time I'll rerig him and see if it works better. It's like the 4th time I've rigged him but the first 3 times don't count cause I was rigging for the first time ever.
I don't see me actually finishing ether of these demigod for the game. Programming and animating them take far to long but it's fun to talk about.
