I don't mind earrings or tattoos if they aren't gaudy, but I've never liked any piercings other than the ear.

Reminds me of an old Dennis Leary stand-up bit about the convenience store clerk with a tongue ring and flavored coffee.

"What is this crap?"

"Mnuttrntcrnch"

"Huh?"

"Mutter nuott crnch"

"Butter nut crunch?"

"Nyess"

unless you plan on using it to stimulate a girl down below.. entirely not worth it.  If you want it to make making out more fun.. better off finding a girl with a tongue ring.

i was gonna do both of the above. love doing the first thing and figure it'd make it even better for the female.

then go for it.  From what I hear, it definitely does.  Also, friend of mine has a tongue ring... nobody accused him of being gay :P

i actually don't care if someone thinks i'm gay. Bc i like my piercing and i know i'm str8. and so does my girl.

If you want to do something just to be different, you'll only end up being the same as everyone else who wants to be "different".

Being different is totally overrated, you feel lonely, left out, excluded and isolated. You are better off being who you are. I have always been a weird kid, and as i grew up i did things because i wanted to, and sometimes to set myself apart. the only things that i regret now are the things I did to get people to notice me.

Oh, and getting my nipples pierced. However the d*ck peircing was a good idea and I stick by it.

"Teenagers are a group of people who all try to be different in the same ways". Wish I remembered who said it, though.

Ive had my tongue pierced for almost 6 years, and I still like it. Ive never had anyone think I was homosexual because of it. The whole eating thing only lasts for a few days. And your mouth will feel normal again once you can put whatever kind of bar you want in it. They usually give you one thats a bit on the long side to compensate for any tongue swelling, it well when I had it, it was kind of awkward. You may have a slight lisp for a week or two, or have a little trouble making the "th" sounds (I did), but that clears up and after a few weeks everything will be right back to normal. People say you cant eat spicy foods anymore when your tongue is pierced, but I've never had a problem with that, and I love spicy foods. 1 bit of advice though, you'll want to take it out and clean it every couple of weeks because you'll get plaque stuck to it (especially on the tongue side of the bottom ball), and its hard to reach parts of it with a toothbrush.

"accused" - it's not about murder or something ...

i'm happy with it. and as for spicy foods they say don't eat them while it's healing bc it can agitate it.i knew someone who got part of a jalopeno stuck in the new hole and they said it hurt like heck!!

Whoever got the penis pierced... did that hurt?

Yes, but surprisingly... not as bad as getting nipples done.

it is because they do not want to differ from each other but from the previous generations, their parants. they want to show we are not like our parants, it is our life, our world.

this is most times the biggest missunderstanding and makes so many attempts of teens look ridicules in the eyes of lder people.

Hogwash. I not only wanted to be different from the people around me, but ALSO my parents generation. I wanted to be a completely unique individual. It's kinda hard.

Nips or PA? Nips weren't worth it at all. not. at. all. Even the PA comes with a host of issues. Personally I would just get more tattoos at this point than get another piercing.
