Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

I win, because heresy grows from idleness, and possum has both infinite and no meaning simultaneously.

that doesn't even make sense, like a fish who flew in the sun

tesb: The Wind Fish from Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

ZombiesRus5: He didn't really win that long. We had a lot of jokes shooting back and forth and then a lot was erased due to a server crash.

yes this i why this thread is now shedded in tears, like a handkerchief on a funeral

the analogy I can actually get. The sentence structure preceeding the comma is a bit unruly.

that would be an understatement

Well, as I've learned with guys trying to tell Sins vs. Star Wars stories, going overboard with my criticisms tends to draw a bit of hostility.

in terms of games, yes.

On another subject-

I've been playing tons of DoW:Winter Assault lately, to the point of reneging a bit on my want of SupCom1+FA. My question however is which is better overall for solo skirmish play- DC or SS?

On the one hand, SS has a total of 9 races, allowing me to have a very varied line-up in 8P AI skirmishes, as well as having flying units. I haven't got much experience with said units, having only played the demo, but the seem interesting and at least marginally useful in some roles.

But with Dark Crusade, I have a nice setup and lineup, plus a pretty neat campaign that sounds very interesting (more interesting than the SS campaign anyway).

What will really make or break SS for me is how well air units work, as well as general balance/level of fun. Are air units fun to use? Do they have any combat usefulness or do the tend towards a more multirole capability for some races? Is the game balanced to the point that any 1 race can take on any 1 other and have a reasonable chance of success, considering that 1 player is human and the other AI (no MP for me)?

EDIT: I should have also included this, but how much fun are the campaigns for each one? Does DC's campaign shine more than SS's? Or does Soulstorm have a superior campaign? While I will likely mostly play in skirmish games, I am marginally interested in the campaigns.

On a side note- I am having some trouble winning the 4th campaign mission in WA as the Guard. Tips for success would be appreciated. I've already completed the Order campaign as the Eldar, but would like to try to finish it as the Guard. After all, who doesn't like the Baneblade making things go boom?

Air units aren't much different from ground units. They don't move much faster, but have less of a terrain issue. Almost everything can attack them, so they go down just as easily as a ground vehicle.

I think the races are fairly well balanced, but that might just be me. I find that the AI is not the smartest in the world. If you play long enough to deal with full rushes, some groups like Chaos and Necron have a decided advantage, but even these can be repelled. I'm sure in MP there is a favorite.

DC campaign is fun. SS sucks.

Don't remember the mission, so someone else will need to answer.
