Can i just buy Twilight of Arnor or i need the original game too, is the online playing active?
Well there is no mutliplayer in this game, the closest you get is completing metaverse maps versus the cpu and then posting your scores online. Its the design choice they went with, so um yeah if you want multiplayer, wrong game. If you want a deep space strategy game for single player antics, then this could be the right game for you. Theres a demo I believe as well you can download.
The best buy is to get the Galactic Civiliztions II Ultimate Edition. it has every thing you need.
Dont worry about the lack of multi the Ais will give you a run for your money at though levels and if you ant to share a new AAR (that you actually finish) is always welcome
