Premades have ruined the game

Premades have ruined the game

I sooo wanted to like this game...when i play against non PM's...the game is incredible!!! But in my opinion, this is the worst community I've played with. Stack the game to your advantage then complain about rage quitters. and what's with these "pro's???" "pro's only... whatever

I can't wait to hear the flammers.

Here is the thing...when teams stack the room unfairly they chase people away...like me...im done...so, have fun playing with yourselves. You guys ruined another fun game.

flame away

while the Pantheon encourages honest competition

Honest competition? Such as dodging all human players and playing a.i only matches so you can farm exp? Very honest.

Some people wonder why more players won't go online. The reality is online games are populated by childish, egotistical dickheads who have no clue as to what good manners and politeness are. Some of the replies here are perfect examples.

As a gaming community you should be encouraging more people to play online instead of hurling abuse at them. There are many ways 'pro' gamers can do this, unfortunately, language skills and common courtesy are seriously lacking at the lower end of the gene pool...

1) What would be the point? He already said he left.

2) Give respect to get it.

3) He asked for it.

4) I had no idea you owned this game....

The abuse that was hurled towards him was simply aksed for. End of story. Im pretty sure no one here is going to piss a guy like that.

The problem is not being premade, the problem are PuG stompers (who often also are premades).

Nevertheless there's a big difference!

Whoever thought of releasing such a competitive game without proper matchmaking or ingame viewable stats?

I for one am sorry for all the poor newbies who got bashed again and again and left without having fought one fair game. Altough sometimes it's also their fault because they arrogantly join "good players only" or "pro" games and won't even leave after you tell them why they should not join such games.

^Yep.  Outside of the connectivity problems at launch, the ongoing lack of in-game stats has been the single most destructive and inexcusable part of the Demigod online experience.  Just reading this thread, you can see how this missing feature has poisoned the community with suspicion and contempt for each other.  I hope that this feature gets officially added very soon.

It will be next week but you can try it now.

(the official build is newer than that with better stats but it still does the job).

I have been using the overlay since it came out.  I have observed that about 25% or premades are good people who want a good match.  The other 75% just want to pug stomp newb players.

That is the reality of this game, one stats are out this will be much harder to do and the game, and its compunity will be better for it. I compleatly understand the OPs frustration, and I think many of the replys in thei thread show why so many have had bad in game experiances.

Still this?

Premades are fine.  It adds a dimension of coordinated team play which is only a good thing.  It is great that skilled players will pour over the details of each ability to develop bleeding edge strategies they can bring to their team.

BUT... it is **stupid** to match a premade against a pug.  It is like matching a pro team against a high school team.  There is no point.  It is unchallenging for the premade and frustrating for the pug.  Now, it can't be that hard to match teams against teams and singles against singles, can it?

@op you are the kind of person that destroys the game.

What is wrong when you want to play with friends??? This is a damn team game. If you dont have friends get some ....

We just joined a 3v3 game there is one player who has 1400games and 80% win and his friend 80% win and they play together  50% of their games.

Result is we get kicked for beeing premade... even tho we have only 12% played together and the best person has 70% win
This is ridiculous, they stack teams only to win, which shows their high win rate... which is asshole like.

This attitude is destroying the game. This is a damn team game, and here teams get punished...
Get over it, good players can play together without ts with no problems... Not playing because the other players are a team is retarded.

Sometimes when you join a game against random good people and they win against your team, they yell at you because you are so bad and lose against them. Sry but this is no place for friends, who want to play together sometimes....

You know what though? I haven't read every single post, but I to a large extent have pretty much stopped playing too, and his cited reason is one of the reasons. The devs didnt' make enough to truly give this game support. I bought this during beta, Last Dec, and stuck with it for what seemed like forever, and I genuinely don't feel like playing it much anymore, almost never do I want to actually play. I still launch it every once in a while, but invariably, the game is addled with disconnects, not to mention the premade factor fucking with anyone who wants to play a casual game for fun, the community is small, they play one map, there likely won't be a lot more maps or demis since the devs probably took a loss on the game. And yes the people who left in a huff earlier were impatient imo, I stuck it out until not too long ago.

The caustic dialog, a legacy from DOTA, really makes playing with many of the other players impalatable. It's literally the worst community I've been associated with, and I used to play counter strike. Yeah he may be jumping on the bashing bandwagon. But the fun isn't there, at least for me. The difficulties are too many, the people are too often a difficulty, and it's likely getting only minimal support in the future. It's not even this line of thinking that made me stop, it was literally that I wasn't having any fun, win or lose. I still launch it, but rarely, idk. If you just read the posts in this thread, the timbre of a large percentage of the comments tells you a lot about the community. It's driven me away. Not that I want your attention, or even for people to change...But it is a pain to actually have fun playing this game, it takes work to have fun, you need to check out people, which is what the last update made possible, before you had to keep lists, only play smaller maps because people can't play them...IDK...I don't hate the game, I'm not even leaving really...I just don't play it anymore.
