However, it has been a few hours and I think it is a good idea, so, unless it's against the rules here, post a screenshot or a few of battles or what you will from the game Sins of a Solar Empire.

I wonder if IC would enjoy a thread that was a screenshot contest (stock Sins/Entrenchment, NO mods (they couldn't use the modded screenies for official stuff))... maybe get some new images for their front page. Anyone know a good site for picture hosting that's free? Or are the forums themselves willing to host them? If this has already been done, cool.

You can use mediafire, Itharus. Also Photoshop has a online site where you can do minor edits and upload host some photos. I use both.

It be a neat idea for a contest. But I wouldnt count out mods. Some mods have some killer ships and effects. Maybe just a seperate division for mods of you do a contest.

I'm using photobucket, but if you ever leave your account inactive for too long, they delete everything. I had considered uploading to my facebook albums, but facebook tends to be ban-happy even about just adding too many friends in too short a time.

Here are some more. I'm kinda glad that the hotfix didn't break the game I had saved from the September 30th update, since I like the configuration here a lot on this map.

on the main menu go to options then key bindings,

that will tell you what has been set and what else you want to set

Wow! Some nice shots in this thread.  It never ceases to amaze me how much graphical glitz IC managed to incorporate into their game without demanding every PC gamer upgrade their rigs.  If only more game companies would follow IC/Stardocks lead.....

Don't get me wrong, I'm down with mods, I just think they should have their own thread :). I'll try to post a few screenies here... hopefully I can get it to work. My screenshots wont look as nice as some that have already been posted, because my machine is from 2004 - although I still think they look quite nice, which speaks volumes about the game engine!

...think I have it working this time around, only took about 8 attempts... lol.

Perhaps this could be a general screenshot thread, and then there could be specific screenshot threads (perhaps with  contests, though I don't think a prize could be tangible.... at least not from somebody on my budget) for specific mods or versions of the game.

You can keep your uploaded stuff on mediafire forever, they never delete it. That's where I upload all my things I want to share.

Ok i forget how to get pictures into a post.....how do i get the picture url if they're uploaded to mediafire? I've done it before, but I can't remember how it was done.
