Our old loved friend Ed (Angus1949) was in the hospital this past week. I started a new contract with really crappy web connection, but that's no excuse.

Well, my oldest bud here on WC was sick. I'm a Doctor and I didn't know. Well there's no way to make up for that (and so soon after Yom Kippur) but I trust Ed will never remind me of that.

It's the Birthday of the nicest guy I know...who despite terrible health problems manages a cackle and a sparkling wit as well as his hand extended in friendship to one and all.

Please join me in a hearty Get Well and Happy Birthday for Ed.

Oh yeah...and a Happy Hannukah too, bubby!

What a great core group of people you are, always there when anyone needs a lift.  So many of us are sick and/or in pain and yet you are always open to sharing a happy thought for a friend.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.........oh, and hitting 60 sucks but it's better than the alternative.

Happy Birthday Ed. You've been there for me when I needed help, and sorry but I dont know how to do the animated cake and candles.
