Is there a chance that we will lose our envoys if negotiations do not work out? Do we need to be carefull about sending envoys to factions that are angry or have been heavily engaged with?
Do we need to set groundwork first? A Truce or a secret negotiation?
Good question. It so, this would force players to consider military and diplomatic options very carefully.
but what im more expecting is
a) can you afford the tech
b) ok then u are allies
I hope you could meet in a neutral asteroid field or plasma storm. Player one buys that tech upgrade. Sets of a ping to a neutral system that only the person he wished to meet with can see. Both envoy cruisers arrive and talk over tea! If you meet in a neutral system maybe an enemy can jump in a wipe both of your cruisers out. That'd be a cool.
