seen it before, though I'm a bit bothered you said "kids these days" as if a single example from the internet is enough to make a sweeping generalism like that (I know its a joke, perhaps I'm just irritable of late) 

I mean, children and young adults have talent too... they just arn't being paid to express it.   (it was once said something like, "kids straight out of college arn't always worth hiring to good positions" around me once, and "I wouldn't expect that high quality work from students" and so its become a touchy subject for me who is trying to prove I am more that "just a student" even though I've not had the time to really prove it.)

you think so?    I mean, yes... its very well chorigraphed.   But at the same time, I've seen (even been apart) middle and high school groups do some pretty impressive stuff.  (dances, and even acting.  Its sad when I can watch old tapes of my middle school plays and discover some of the actors then were better at playing many different roles than some of the "professional" ones I see on TV now)   The difference is they likely practiced that for many months leading up to this ceremony, and even then they are likely one of the best cheer squads in the country for that age group.   An older professional group that did the same thing might have spent half the amount of time practicing for it, just because they've been chereographing dances in general for a longer and know how to keep rhythm and all that stuff.   

(I'm a party pooper, I know.   I'm just rarely impressed by the internet's "best  of" videos these days.  It doesn't help this videos been around for a while and I'm turned off by it appearing to be the side-show of a sporting event )
